How we got our name...
Because I have seen a sleeping squirrel. It is an adorable sight!
Several years ago after building nest boxes for birds I built a cedar hut for the squirrels. In no time they were checking out the new digs. Sometimes they hang out on top, sometimes they get inside.
Whenever it rains there will be a squirrel taking shelter from the rain. They also use it for just hanging out on a sunny day.
One lovely day a little guy was comfortably stretched out on his side taking an afternoon nap. Now there's a sight you don't see everyday! I get lots of laughs watching their antics.
